MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The women's golf team is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for their final event of the fall 2019 season, the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
The tournament is hosted by Lincoln Memorial University and is being held on the Panther Run course at Ocean Ridge Plantation.
After the first day of play, the lead is shared by Lenoir-Rhyne University and Mount Olive University, who both shot 14-over-par 302 in round one.
The Lady Lions opened with a 332, 30 shots back of the lead and in a tie for 6th place out of the 8 teams in the field.
The Lady Lions were led by sophomore Allie Cobb, who tied her low round of the fall season with a 77, putting her in a tie for 10th place out of the 50 ladies playing.
Elizabeth Kerezsy and Caitlynn Reuter shot opening 84s for Emmanuel, putting them in a tie for 31st place. Aleah Hylton followed with an 87 and is tied for 35th heading into the final round.
Freshman Emma Lewis had the shot of the year for the Lady Lions when, on the par-3 sixth hole, she recorded the first ace in the history of Emmanuel College golf (men's and ladies). Lewis hit a 5-wood from 149 yards for the historical shot.

The ladies will continue the action tomorrow, October 1st, for the final round of the 2019 Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
