Women's Golf Finishes 8th at Anderson Invitational

ANDERSON, S.C. - After two days of play, including a weather delay on Friday afternoon, the Emmanuel College women's golf team finished 8th at the Anderson University Invitational. Competition took place at the 5,825 yard, par-72 Cobb's Glen Country Club.

Other schools competing included Anderson College, Catawba College, Erskine College, Converse College, King University, Belmont Abbey, Southern Wesleyan, and Spartanburg Methodist.

Led by Sophomore Elizabeth Kerezsy at +17 over par, the Lions finished with a final score of 688 (+112). Trailing behind Emmanuel was Spartanburg Methodist in 9th place, a total 149 strokes behind the Lions. 

Kerezsy finished tied for 14th, while Freshmen Allie Cobb and Aleah Hylton rounded out the top 3 for Emmanuel.
