LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Emmanuel College women's bowling team kicked off their season with back to back tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. The team faced competition from 18 Varsity teams and 8 JV teams.
The women's varsity team kicked off their weekend with a 5th place finish on Saturday at the Louisville Classic. Senior Arianna Campbell led the Lions with a 2nd place overall finish and tournament average of 208.4. Campbell was named to the All-Tournament Team. The women's JV team finished 2nd overall behind Freshman Katarina Korn's 191.2 tournament average. Korn finished 2nd in the JV field and was named to the JV All-Tournament Team.
Action continued on Sunday at the Thomas Burris Memorial where the Lady Lions finished 3rd overall. Freshman Natily Haro and Senior Elizabeth O'Brien finished 2nd and 4th respectively to both be named to the All-Tournament Team. On the JV side, Senior Chasey Cubine finished 2nd overall while Sophomore Elaina Silcox finished 4th to earn their spot on the JV All-Tournament Team.
The ladies will continue action on Saturday, October 19th at the FSU Seminole Classic.
