GREENVILLE, S.C. – Emmanuel freshman Shane Shelafoe has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019.
A native of Maysville, Ga., Shelafoe finished third individually at the 2019 UNG Cross Country Invitational that was hosted by North Georgia in Oakwood, Ga. Shelafoe posted an 8K time of 26:53.8 in finishing third at the UNG Invitational that featured 101 men's participants.
Shelafoe's strong finish allowed Emmanuel to finish second out of 12 teams at the UNG Invitational.
