Lions Make Quick Work of Cobras

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College men's volleyball team defeated Coker College, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon. This win brings the Lions record to 5-10 overall, and 2-6 in conference.

Aside from an equal number of kills coming from both sides of the net in the first set, the Lions led in hitting percentage and number of kills the entire night.

Junior Aleksa Lakic led the Lions with 10 kills en route to their three set sweep. Junior Alejandro Robles racked up 6 of the Lions 18 total blocks. The Lions finished the afternoon with a .264 hitting percentage compared to the Cobra's .071%.

Next up, the Lions will take on Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina on Wednesday, February 27th. In their previous matchup, the Saints came out on top 3-1.
