Doubles #1, Juan Carlos Romero and Kornel Kimagzweski were unable to defeat their opponent and lost 6-3. In doubles #2, Lucas Sasaki and Thembo Makhanya were too strong for their opponent. With Sasaki's consistent volleys and Malhanya's backhand to set up Sasaki, the pair won 6-2. In doubles #3, Hassan Badran and Juan Camilo struggled to find their rhythm and lost 6-1. After doubles, the men's team were down 0-1.

Unfortunately, Badran, Javi Crespo, and Romero were unable to break their opponent's service game and fell short. Once competition concluded the Lions were narrowly defeated 4-3.

Next up, the team will travel to the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, SC to compete in the ITA Southeast Regionals.
