MEN ASC CHAMPS - Session #3
Christiansburg, VA::: Day 2 prelim events, men's swimming competed in Session #3 of the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships taking place at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Christiansburg, Virginia.

In the 400 IM, Camilo Mendoza (4:09.49) placed 2nd, Matt Bonna placed 13th with a lifetime best 4:37.96. Senior Captain Wyatt Nicholson placed 15th with a personal best 5:03.84, and David Rabern placed 16th with a lifetime best 5:07.92.


In the 100 fly, Santiago Aguilar (50.91) placed 3rd, Jarred Stigant placed 14th in a personal best 53.65, and Dwayne Foxworth placed 34th in a personal best 1:08.34.


In the 200 free, Camilo Mendoza (1:43.29) placed 1st and Stanislas Raczynski (1:44.03) placed 4th. Nolan Bell (2:22.26) placed 40th in a personal best.


In the 100 breast, Andrew Reichenbach (59.72) placed 9th breaking the EC school record in the process. Cristhian Carrasquilla (1:02.74) placed 22nd in a season best time of 1:07.74.

Finally, in the 100 back, Adrian Aleksandrowicz (51.05) placed 2nd and Hayden Pendergraft (56.74) placed 13th.


Tonight the Lions will compete in the 200 medley relays and 800 free relays.


Head Coach Allen Gilchrest; "Our men had an amazing morning or racing. We started off the meet with 4 boys qualifying for finals in one event! Andrew taking back his 100 breast school record, and 6 other EC swimmers making finals for a total of 11 in finals tonight! The men are also seeded #2 in both relays tonight. We are looking forward to another big night of top of the podium finishes. We give God the glory!"
