Aguilar Breaks School Record

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA --- October 24rd, 2015, the EC lions welcomed King and Life University to their last home swim meet of the fall semester. The lions defeated King University by a score of 127 to 37. The lions defeated Life University by a score of 137 to 10. 

After the opening of the national anthem, by Emmanuel's very own swimmers, Sarah Curtright and prayer by Paisley Whitaker, the action began! 

Congratulations goes to EC swimmer, Santiago Aguilar who set the EC men's 1000 yard free school record (9:57.07). 

In the Stroke events, Aguilar (53.89), Bonna (58.14) and Rabern (1:10.72) completed the men's 100 fly with 1st, 2nd and 4th places. Aleksandrowicz (54.50) placed 1st in the 100 back followed by Pendergraft (1:00.00) who completed the race in 2nd place. Mendoza (1:00.24) placed 1st in the 100 breast. Reichenbach (2:05.22) finished in a 1st place in the 200 IM. 

In the sprint events, Mendoza (1:45.23), and Nicholson (2:06.01) placed 1st and 4th in the men's 200 free. Aleksandrowicz (21.69) and Bonna (23.26) completed the men's 50 free in 1st and 2nd places. Mendoza (47.84) placed 1st in the men's 100 free, followed by Reichenbach (51.37) close behind in 2nd and Wood (1:02.68) in 5th. 

In the distance events, Aguilar (9:57.07) placed 1st in the men's 1000 free, followed by Rabern (12:29.58) in 2nd. Aguilar (4:52.67) finished with a strong 1st in the men's 500 free and Nicholson (5:34.29) in 3rd. In the relays (Pendergraft, Reichenbach, Bonna, Aleksandrowicz) finished the race in 1st place (1:44.87) in the men's 200 Medley relay. Nicholson, Rabern, Pendergraft, and Wood placed 2nd in the men's 200 free relay (1:42.73).
