Franklin Springs, GA --- October 17th, 2015, The EC Lions Defeated the Bethel University Wildcats, by a score of 109 to 39. Continuing with their third meet of the season thus far with excellent performances.
In the Stroke events, Mendoza placed 1st in the 400 IM (4:23.34). Rabern placed 2nd with a time of 5:22.65. Aguilar placed 1st in the 200 fly with a time of 1:57.90. Bonna following in 2nd place (2:13.67). Aleksandrowicz finished 1st in the men's 200 yard backstroke (2:07.26) followed by David Rabern, finishing 2nd (2:38.99). Mendoza took home 1st place in the men's 200 yard breaststroke (2:21.22) followed by Reichenbach in 2nd (2:21.39).
In the Sprints events, Pendergraft placed 2nd in the men's 200 yard free (1:58.99) with Eavenson following in 2nd (2:34.79). In the 50 free Aleksandrowicz placed 1st (21.65). Reichenbach finished 2nd (22.30), followed by Bonna in 4th (23.72) and Wood in 5th (27.46). Wood placed 2nd in the men's 100 yard free (1:02.57), followed by Eavenson in 3rd (1:05.41).
In the Distance events, Nicholson placed 1st in the men's 500 yard freestyle (5:37.00) followed by Pendergraft in 2nd (5:43.13).
In the Relays, (Aleksandrowicz, Mendoza, Aguilar, and Reichenbach) placed 1st in the 200 yard Medley Relay (1:38.99). Aguilar, Bonna, Nicholson, Rabern finished 2nd in the 200 yard Free relay (1:36.44).
Next home meet, this Saturday (October 24) starting at 1pm, the Lion's host Life University, King University, and Warren Wilson College in Quad Meet action.
