Aguilar earns spot on 2014 CSCAA NAIA All-America Swim Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo.---Emmanuel's Santiago Aguilar has earned NAIA Swim Team All-American honors for the 2013-14 season.

Aguilar finished 6th in the Men's 200 yard Butterfly (1:53.73) at the 58th annual men's swimming and diving national championships held March 5 to 8 in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He is the first NAIA swim team All-American from Emmanuel College

"It was a total surprise for me when coach called me into his office to tell me that I earned a spot on the All-American team!" said Aguilar. "We thought it was just for the top three places at nationals. All I can say is that God is great and that he keeps surprising me! I am sure that He has even greater things to come for our team!"

CSCAA NAIA All-America Honors are conferred upon those athletes who finish in the top-6 of an individual or Top-3 in a relay event at the NAIA Championship.
