Men's Soccer Drops Match to Chowan on Senior Night

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College men's soccer team fell 0-3 to Chowan University on Saturday afternoon. 

The #1 conference ranked Hawks grabbed an early lead when Trevin Myers fired a shot into the bottom right corner of the net. Five minutes later Myers would score again, bringing the score to 2-0.

Despite the Lions efforts, they were unable to score, allowing Chowan to close out the game with one last goal in the seventieth minute. 

Junior Danny McKerchar Cameron led the Lions offense with 2 shots.

This final home game of the season allowed the team to celebrate the accomplishments of their seniors. Today, the following men were recognized:

The men will close out their regular season with two away games next week before post season conference play starts. The Lions take on Erskine College on Tuesday, October 23rd.
