Men's Soccer Falls to Limestone College

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Men's Soccer had a tough time against conference opponent Limestone College on Saturday night, falling 3-0.

The Saints commanded the field most of the night with 26 shots compared to the Lions 7. 

The first goal of the night came off a corner kick when Limestone's Dominic Boland headed a shot into the back post.

Nearing the end of the first half, Limestone took advantage of another corner with a goal from Nacho Reigada.

The Saints' final goal of the night came just under fifteen minutes into the second half when Tristyn de Laaf scored from the top of the box.

Senior goalkeeper Andy Dunnett tallied 9 saves. Junior Danny McKerchar Cameron led the Lions in shots with 3, while Senior Deibyd Contreras had the sole shot on goal for the Lions.

The Lions will continue action on Wednesday, October 17th when they take on Clayton State.
