Men's Soccer Takes Down Piedmont International

BERMUDA RUN, Nc. - The Emmanuel College men's soccer team had a solid performance against Piedmont International University on Saturday afternoon on their way to a 4-1 victory.

Scoring first for the Lions was Senior Nico Becker who capitalized on a penalty kick sixteen minutes into the match.

Senior Channing Park would follow up in the second half with a goal off of an assist from Senior Blair Springhall to bring the score to 2-0.

Jose Perez would score the sole goal of the night for the Bruins ten minutes later.

Scoring the final two goals of the night was Junior Danny McKerchar Cameron bringing his season total to 7.

The Lions had 15 shots on goal compared to only 3 from the Bruins.

Men's soccer will resume on Wednesday, October 3rd with a home match against conference opponent Southern Wesleyan University at 7:00pm.
