Men's Soccer Tops North Greenville University

GREENVILLE, Sc. - Men's soccer added another conference win with a 2-1 victory against North Greenville University on Wednesday night. 

The Crusaders were the first to get on the board with a goal just over four minutes into the game.

The Lions followed up twelve minutes later with a shot from Senior Channing Park, his second goal of the season.

With the score tied at 1-1, the game would go into half time.

The teams continued to clash in the second half, with Emmanuel putting up five shots to NGU's four. Finally, the Lions capitalized when Freshman Will Fraser-Gray fired a shot with an assist from Freshman Luke Jones to break the tie. The Crusaders would shoot one last shot high before the time expired.

The Lions outshot their opponent 17 to 6, including 4 more shots on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Andy Dunnett had 1 save.

The men will continue action on Saturday, September 29th when they take on Piedmont International on the road.
