The Lions would have their moment fifteen minutes into the second half when a quick pass from Senior Deibyd Contreras setup Senior Channing Park with a shot inside the left post.

Just three minutes later, the Lions of Mars Hill broke away from Emmanuel defense and tucked a shot low under a diving Kenneth Vining. This shot proved to be the game-winning play for Mars Hill.

At the end of the match, Emmanuel had 8 shots on goal, including two apiece from Channing Park and Senior Blair Springhall.

Next up for the Lions is a match against Point University in West Point, Georgia on Wednesday, Sept. 5th at 6:00 pm.
