DAYTONA BEACH, Fl. – The Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team fell to Embry-Riddle Wednesday during their mid-spring break contest.
It was Allen Velasquez that claimed the first goal of the contest midway through the opening quarter. A six-goal run for the Eagles would bleed into the third quarter when the Lions found the net off the stick of Lance Olson. Velasquez would score five-minutes later putting the score to 6-3 favoring the Eagles.
A slashing call against Roman Tavani would give ERAU a man-up goal. The Eagles would score once more before the third quarter would end Lions trailing, 8-3.
Ethan Brundage was credited with 10 saves in the contest and also collected six ground balls.

The Lions were on clears in the fourth quarter going eight for eight.
EC finishes their spring break excursion taking on Palm Beach Atlantic Saturday at 2:00pm.
