Men's Lacrosse Drops Another Match in Florida

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Emmanuel College Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Boca Raton, Florida to take on Lynn University on March 7th.

Lynn University started the game with all cylinders firing. The lions were absent from the score board in the first quarter, allowing Lynn a 6-0 lead.

The lions failed to put any points up on the board in the second quarter as well while Lynn putt up two more. Emmanuel went into half time facing an 8-0 deficit.

The lions finally put up their first point of the night in the third quarter making the score 1-10.

Lynn stared the fourth quarter with three unanswered goals, until Justin Parker put one in the back of the net to bring the score to 2-15. Lynn went on to score the final goal of the game ending the game with a score of 16-2, Lynn.

The Lions won 5 of the 21 faceoffs, had 23 ground balls, 21 turnovers and 10 shots.

The next game for the Lions will be in West Palm Beach, FL against Palm Beach Atlantic on March 10th.
