Men's Golf Wraps Up King Invitational

BRISTOL, Tn. - The men's golf team played their second round at the Country Club of Bristol in the 2019 King University Invitational on Tuesday. 
 
The event was won by the host school, King University, who shot an 8-under-par 272 in the final round for a 555 two day total. 
 
The Lions improved on their first round total by 3 shots with a second round 306, putting them in 9th place. 
 
Senior Chris Stowe shot the lowest round of his collegiate career with his final round 74, finishing 35th in the tournament with his 154 total for 36 holes. 
 
Junior Logan Reese shot a second round 74 for a total score of 150, finishing tied for 25th place. Freshman Ty Metts shot a 78 and also finished with a 150 total and tied for 25th. 
 
Emilio Fanjul and Lukas Waldhagen finished 43rd and 44th, respectively. 
 
Next up, the men's golf team will head to North Carolina on October 13 to compete in the Donald Ross Intercollegiate.
