Men's Golf Wraps Up Day 1 at King Invitational
BRISTOL, TN - The men's golf team travelled to Bristol, Tennessee to compete in their first event of the 2019-2020 season, the King University Invitational. 
After the first day at the Country Club of Bristol, King University leads the way after shooting a 3-over-par 283 on the par 70 layout. 
The Lions shot a first round 309, putting them in 9th place heading into Tuesday. 
Freshman Ty Metts led the way for Emmanuel, shooting a 72 in his first event as a Lion. Junior Logan Reese followed with a 76. Chris Stowe and Emilio Fanjul shot 80 and 81, respectively. Lukas Waldhagen rounded out the Lion's line-up with an 85 in his first event as a Lion.

The Lions will continue the action tomorrow for round two of the 2019 King University Invitational.
