MONTGOMERY, Ala.---Emmanuel's Joel Sawyer has been tabbed the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) golfer of the week for the week of March 31, 2014.
Sawyer earned his second career low-medalist trophy leading the Lion's golf program to their first program tournament win at the recent Emmanuel College Invitational played last week at Cateechee Golf Course in Hartwell, Ga.
He posted a two-day total of 148 which beat the field by four strokes en route to this award.
