Several Bass Fishermen End High School Career with National Appearances

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Georgia - As the Emmanuel College Bass Fishing Team kicks off their season under Coach Pam Wells, take a look at some of the athletes National Tournament accomplishments. 

Freshman Cy Casey represented Greenbrier High School alongside partner Tanner Hadden to place 43rd at the FLW Pickwick National Tournament. The same duo also competed at the BASS National Tournament on Kentucky Lake and finished 87th.

Freshman Joe Mitchell and partner Tyler Campbell competed for Franklin County High School and finished 25th at the FLW High School World Finals.

Freshmen duo Kollin Smith and Jonah Gilbert represented Franklin County High School at the BASS National Tournament on Kentucky Lake and finished 104th.

Freshman Daelyn Whaley and partner Lilly Smith represented Abbeville High School and placed 5th at the BASS National Tournament on Kentucky Lake.

Head Coach Pam Wells had the following to say, "It is an accomplishment in itself to make it to Nationals. These are some of the best high school anglers from across the nation, not just in Georgia and Alabama. There were teams from Washington State, Maine, the best of the best. I am extremely proud of all our anglers, they represented themselves and their schools like true professionals. The team we have are some of the best anglers out there, and even better people."
