FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College archery team had several standout performances this summer in national and state level competitions across the country.
Conyers, Georgia, June 8th and 9th - Rachel Reshonsky finished 1st at Outdoor JOAD State Tournament in the Junior Olympic Recurve division. Despite the heavy rain and thunderstorm delays, Reshonsky led the tournament the whole weekend to earn the Gold Medal.
London, Kentucky, June 22nd and 23rd - Roger Hermosilla finished 2nd at the 3D Pro/Am Tour in the Olympic Recurve division. This comes after his 4th place finish in his first 3D season. Hermosilla has chosen not to attend the final part of the Tour in Metropolis, Illinois in order to better prepare for U.S Outdoor Nationals and increase his chances at making the USAT Team.
Raleigh, North Carolina, July 11th to 14th - Lexie Martin, Open Compound, and Rachel Reshonsky, Olympic Recurve represented Emmanuel Archery at Outdoor JOAD Nationals. After a good qualification, Reshonsky (47) and Martin (17), they managed to finish 9th in each of their divisions. Furthermore, Reshonsky claimed a 4th place finish in the Olympic Recurve Team round competition, and Martin claimed the Gold in the Open Compound Team round event.
Simultaneously, in Metropolis, Illinois - incoming Freshman Marissa Fullard finished 4th in the Nation at the High School Girls Fixed Pin.
