NEWBERRY, Fl. - The Emmanuel Archery team attended the Gator Cup hosted at Easton Newberry Center in Newberry, Florida last weekend. This tournament was the second stage of the USAT circuit in order to decide who will represent the United States at the international level this upcoming year.
Competition included former Olympians, World Champions and Resident Athletes. This year the Gator Cup broke participation records with over 600 shooters.
The venue was clouded with thunderstorms and rain delays forcing the Lions to face delays of up to an hour and a half. Despite the inconvenient weather, the Lions had a great performance with Rachel Reshonsky finishing 17th, Roger Hermosilla finishing 33rd, and Lexie Martin finishing 6th.
