Lady Lions take game 3-1 against Limestone 

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. — In this evening's home game, the Lady Lions won against Limestone 3-1. In their previous bout, the Saint's came out on top in 4 sets.
 
After losing the first set 22-25, Emmanuel won three sets in a row, taking the match. The Lady Lions met Limestone's competition with lots of energy and strong plays. The Lions won the second set 25-18. In a closer third set, they won 25-21. They won the fourth set 25-16, winning the game.
 
Starting players Guro Key Froeberg (#3), Julie de Blanck (#9), Jessica Gray (#13), and Jenna Woodruff (#23) tallied a total of 35 kills among them. Woodruff also tallied 15 digs, along with libero Aysha Avery's (#21) 22.
 
They will play another home game in the Shaw Athletic Center on Tues., Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. for a rematch against Georgia College.
