FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - Women's soccer returned to the field to capture another blowout victory, this time against King University. After returning from a 4-0 win over Georgia Southwestern, the Lions cruised to an impressive 5-0 win.

The first goal came just six minutes into the first half when Sophomore Hannah Logue fired a pass from Junior Lindsay Lee into the lower right corner of the net.

Just four minutes later, Logue would strike again, this time with a lob past the right side of the goalie. With a score of 2-0, the Lions appeared to just be getting started.

Less than two minutes into the second half, Logue tapped a passed ball from Emmye Holbert into the net, giving her the first hat trick of the season.

Still eager for goals, Logue would once again fire a shot into the top left corner, with an assist from Freshman Moriah Logue in the sixty fourth minute of the match.

The final goal of the game came from Senior Kayla Brown with a quick shot to the lower right corner of the net.

Hannah Logue finished the night with 4 goals, while Emmye Holbert tallied 2 assists. Senior Hannah Welch added 9 saves to her belt.

The Lions will return to action on Wednesday, September 12th when they take on Lee University on the road.
