Women's Golf Takes 10th At 2018 Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, Nc. - The Emmanuel College women's golf team competed at the two-day 2018 Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The Lincoln Memorial University hosted event took place at the 5,937 yard, Par 72 Panthers Run-Ocean Ridge Plantation.

Among the field of 12 competing schools, the Lions finished 10th with a two-day, 111-over par score of 687. Finishing in 1st place was Newberry College at 30-over par, 606.

Sophomore Elizabeth Kerezsy reduced her strokes by five on the second day, earning the highest finish for the Lions tied for 34th at 19-over par, 163. Freshman Allie Cobb tied for 39th place with a 21-over par score of 165. Next for Emmanuel was Freshman Aleah Hylton in 50th place with a 29-over par score of 173. Sophomore Grace Draughn took 61st place with 42-over par, 186. Finally, Freshman Jade Wester ended with a 50-over par score of 194.

The women will continue action on Monday, October 22nd at the NCCAA National Tournament.
