Women's Golf Finishes 2nd at NCCAA South Regional Tournament

GREENVILLE, Sc. - The Emmanuel College women's golf team finished second at the NCCAA South Regional Tournament on Wednesday night. Bob Jones University hosted the tournament at the par 72, 5659 yard Green Valley Country Club.

The Lions shot a two-round score of 684 to finish behind fellow Conference Carolina school Erskine College.

Freshman Allie Cobb led the Lions, tying for 4th place overall with a score of 160 (+16). Sophomore Elizabeth Kerezsy finished in 6th place, shooting 165 (+21), while Freshman Aleah Hylton finished right behind in 7th place shooting 170 (+26). Freshman Jade Wester and Sophomore Grace Draughn both finished with identical scores of 191 (+47).

Allie Cobb was named to the All-Region Team for her top five performance.
