MARENGO, OH. - The Emmanuel College Clay Target Team traveled to The Cardinal Center to compete in the SCTP Collegiate National Championship. The shooters won the teams first National Championship by breaking 2,710 out of 3,000 targets, beating the University of Alabama by 17 targets. The team was led by senior Shelby Evans who ended the event tied for first in ladies HOA by breaking 543/600 targets.
The team ran the table in division 3 by taking first in trap, skeet, sporting clays, 5 stand and bunker trap. A very impressive showing in their first visit to this competition.

The team will host a fundraiser/ recruit shoot this weekend and then travel to Maryland to compete on November 11-12.
