GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Lions wrapped up the regular season on Saturday morning at Bob Jones University for the NCCAA South Region Championships. The Men's team got out to a strong start, setting the pace for the main pack of runners.  Around the two-mile marker Jacob Burgamy began closing the gap on the race leader and eventually took the lead, not letting up until the finish. Burgamy claimed the men's NCCAA South Region Individual Title in a time of 26:05.  Freshman, Will Boomer, stepped up in a major way and finished 3rd overall with a great time, 26:55 for the 8k course.  DaMonte Ward, Jake Morgan, and Ethan Hargrove rounded out the team scorers placing 10th, 11th, and 13th respectively, helping the men's team to the win.
