Lions Run well at Queens

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- At only the second 8,000-meter race of the year, the men had a great showing, improving significantly upon their times from earlier this year.  Jacob Burgamy, coming off of a minor injury, ran well despite not having been able to fully train several days before.  He finished with a time of 25:35 for the 8,000-meter course.  Freshmen Jake Morgan and Will Boomer came in second and third for the Lions with new personal best times of 26:32 and 26:40, respectively.  Junior Juwan Lamar and Freshman Ethan Hargrove rounded out the team scorers, crossing the line in 26:54 and 27:00.

The Lions finished 12th out of 22 men's teams.  "It's nice to get back to running 8ks again. For only the second one of the year, I'm pleased with where we are.  We will continue to put in the work and strive to improve," said Coach Hall.
