Greenville, SC – Emmanuel is one of eight teams to earn a bid into the 2018 NCCAA Men's Tennis National Championship, the national organization announced this weekend.
The Lions are set to compete at the NCCAA Tournament, which begins on Tuesday, May 8 and runs through Friday, May 11th in Mobile, Alabama. Pool play takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday with the semifinals on Thursday, followed by the championship match on Friday.
Joining Emmanuel in the national championship tournament is: Bluefield College, Brewton-Parker College, Colorado Christian University, Dallas Baptist University, Campbellsville University, Indiana Wesleyan and Judson University.
The Lions are the No. 6 overall seed in the tournament and will be joined by Indiana Wesleyan, Dallas Baptist, and Colorado Christian in Pool B. Emmanuel will open the tournament against the #3 Dallas Baptist at 9:30 AM ET on Tuesday, followed by the #2 Indiana Wesleyan 3:30 PM ET. The final pool play match is set for 9:30 AM ET on Wednesday against #7 Colorado Christian.
Prior to competition starting on Tuesday, May 8th, Emmanuel will take part in a Christian Service Project in Mobile, Alabama, on Monday, May 7th.
