Lions Fall in Home Opener Against Barry 1-3


Franklin Springs, GA - Lions fall in home opener against Barry University 1-3. The First half was very tight with the lions scoring first and then the Bucs were able the capitalize right before half time tying the game at 1-1. The second half was dominated by the Bucs with them scoring two more goals winning the game 3-1. 

The Lions played really tough the first half and fought the entire time. Finally, Danny Cameron was able to score for the Lions within 25 minutes of the game from the assists by Blair Springhall. Scoring right before half-time at the 35th minute Frank Lustig tied the game 1-1. 

Coming out after half-time the Lions seemed to lose their momentum while the Bucs picked their's up to another level. The Bucs were able to score two more time by Thomas Coombes and Nyle Patel to finish the game winning 3-1. 

The Lions will be back at it again this Sunday, September 11th at home vs. King University. Come out and support your Lions, kick off is at 4:00 p.m.
