Gaffney, S.C.– The Lions went to the Limestone College for their last conference game for the season. The Lions lost 21-3 to the multiple national championship team. It was the last game of the seniors college career for Josh Hunter (defense), Austin Hurley (attack), Tanner Smith (midfield), Keaton Underhill (midfield) and Austin Brundage (attack).
The Seniors were important for the Lions during 4 years and specially in their last season. Austin Brundage helped the team with 25 goals on the entire season. Which 12 of them were in conference games. Josh Hunter contributed with 14 groundballs and 11 caused turnovers on the season. Tanner Smith helped the team with 5 goals, 10 groundballs and 7 caused turnovers. Keaton Underhill contributed with 6 goals, 10 assistants and 7 groundballs. Austin Hurley helped the team with 6 groundballs and multiple faceoffs.
On the offensive front, senior Austin Brundage led the Lions with 2 goals against the Saints. Keaton Underhill contributed 1 goal, and 1 assistant. Luke Harris led with 5 groundballs against the Saints. Following him was Tyler Machado with 3 groundballs.
Defensively, Tyler Pine was responsible for 2 caused turnovers out of 7. In the goal for the entire game, Luke Harris had 15 saves out of 36 shots taken against him. The team successfully completed 9-13 clears. The team spent 6 minutes 30 seconds on 8 infractions.
