Lions Lacrosse Drop Conference Game

Franklin Springs, GA – The Lions hosted the University of Mount Olive for their last home game of the season. The Seniors were recognizing and it was an unforgettable night for them. Unfortunately, the lions lost for 22-4.

The Lions had trouble to enforce their game, which made the game really difficult. The Lions had two penalties, both coming in the first half, one for Alec Ammons and the other one for Christopher Gerstmyer. They spent 1 minute 30 seconds on these 2 infractions. 

On the offensive front, Tyler Machado  led the Lions with 4 goals. Cam Free contributed with 1 goal and the senior for his last goal at home Tanner Smith  contribute also with 1 goal. Other seniors Austin Brundage led the team with 2 assistants and Keaton Underhill contributed with 1 assistant. Tyler Machado  led with 6 groundballs.

Defensively, Tyler Machado , Seth Wilson and senior Tanner Smith  helped the team with 2 caused turnovers each one and the team had a total of 9 caused turnovers. In the goal for the entire 60 minutes, Luke Harris had 9 saves out of 31 shots taken against him. The team successfully completed 14-23 clears while only having 2 fouls.

The Lions will be back in action on Saturday, April 8th at 7:00 PM at Pfeiffer University.
