Reese and Cobb Finish Top 15 at NCCAA National Tournament 

PALM COAST, Fl. - Sophomore Logan Reese and Freshman Allie Cobb represented Emmanuel's golf team at the three-day NCCAA Golf Championship this week. Competition took place at the Hammock Beach Resort - Conservatory Course in Palm Coast, Florida. Competition included 50 individual men golfers and 49 individual women golfers.

Reese finished off day one tied for 17th place after shooting 5-over par. An impressive one-over par performance on day two, including a birdie on holes 2, 4, 10 and 18 put him in an even better position tied for 11th. The final day of competition saw Reese shoot 8-over for a total score of 230 (+14), finishing in 14th place overall among 50 competitors.

Cobb started off the tournament shooting 11-over par, positioning her in T25th place after day one. She retuned the second day with a top 10 performance shooting just 6-over and moving her to a tie in the 16th spot. Cobb would go on to finish one spot higher, tied for 15th place after shooting 9-over on the final day for a total score of 242 (+26).

Both teams will return to the course in the spring as this tournament concludes fall competition.
