Emmanuel College recruits David Harper Jr. (17), Danielle Lane (17) and Peyton Smith (18) all signed their contracts to become EC bowlers and part of the EC community. Peyton is a student at Archer High School in Loganville, GA while David and Danielle attend Greenville Tech Charter high school and Dillon High School in South Carolina. These are three bowlers with tons of experience as David has been bowling for 13 years, Danielle for 14 years, and Peyton for eight. Peyton and David began competing through youth coaches and league competitions while Danielle wanted to be like her older siblings who were also bowlers. These three young bowlers have competed with and against each other, which should make the 2017-2018 bowling team very cohesive. Danielle has finished in the top 16 Under 20 division ranks while David himself has finished in the top 10 of the Junior USA ranks. Peyton also has his share of accolades as he has finished very respectably in the Junior Gold ranks. All three recruits are excited to compete on the collegiate bowling scene. David also looks to get a degree in marketing while Peyton will major in Computer Science. Danielle has not yet decided on a major, but expressed great ambition to compete. "I'm excited," said Lane. When asked what she is excited about, she responded "about winning". Emmanuel College welcomes it's three new bowlers with open arms.
