Archery Earns 22 Podiums at Southern Sectional

SNELLVILLE, Ga. - Emmanuel Archery participated in the Southern Sectional of US Archery's Indoor Nationals this past weekend. The Lions stunned the Collegiate Archery community with 22 podiums and multiple top 10 finishes. The south section saw competition from University of Florida, Wake Forest, Duke, Georgia Tech., Mississippi State, Georgia Southern, Florida Tech., Florida State, Augusta State, Medical College of Georgia, Emmanuel, University of Georgia, Texas A&M, Texas State, and many more. A wonderful showing from a group of athletes who worked hard to be ready for National Level competition.

Roger Hermosilla, 2nd in Collegiate and 1st in Open Men's Olympic Recurve

Rachel Reshosky, 1st in Collegiate and 1st in Open Women's Olympic Recurve

Kyle Decker 1st in Men's compound

Stephen Lolmaugh 2nd in Men's compound

Emmanuel archery is a very young team made up largely of freshman and has 8 graduating seniors this year. A wonderful showing for a young team and great promise for our outdoor season.
