MEN’S SWIMMING MOVES TO 4-0

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. ---- The Emmanuel College men's swimming team started out the season with a first-place finish at the 5th Annual Emmanuel Invite on Saturday. The Lion's defeated Life, Point, Lagrange, and Bethel, in dual meet action, winning 10 out of the 11 events contested.

 

Top 3 EC finishers in each event:

In the 200 medley relay, the A relay (Hayes, Jones, Mendes, Rosa) finished 1st (1:40.90)

In the 1000 free, Stanislas Raczynski finished 1st (9:38.32) Sebastian Riano 3rd (11:27.09)

In the 200 free, Alasdair McGhee finished 1st (1:48.21)  

In the 50 free, Rafael Mendes finished 1st (22.08) Theo Courteoux 2nd (22.62)  

In the 200 IM, Ander Arruabarrena finished 1st (1:58.90) Hunter Hayes 3rd (2:01.63)

 

In the 100 fly, Ander Arruabarrena finished 1st (53.60) Sebastian Riano 3rd (54.12)

In the 100 free, Thiago Rosa finished 1st (46.90) Theo Courteoux 2nd (51.73)

In the 100 back, Hunter Hayes finished 1st (56.05) Alasdair McGhee 2nd (56.82)   

In the 500 free, Stanislas Raczynski finished 1st (4:40.53) Ander Arrubarrena 3rd (5:09.09)

 

In the 100 breast, Robert Jones finished 2nd (1:03.34)

In the 200 freestyle relay, the A relay (Raczynski, Brown, Mendes, Rosa) finished 1st (1:28.94) the B relay (McGhee, Roberts, Andrews, Riano) finished 3rd (1:35.05)

The men's swimming team will return to action Saturday, October 20th, with another home meet, this time Vs. Berry College. GO LIONS!
