MEN SWIMMING WIN ON SENIOR DAY

Franklin Springs, GA: The Lions defeated Limestone College at home on Senior Day. Senior captain's Santiago Aguilar, Adrian Aleksandrowicz and Andrew Reichenbach where recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in the pool and the classroom.

The EC men won 10 events, finished second 7 times, and third 4 times; defeating Limestone College 150-112.

Top EC performances included:

In the 200 medley relay (Aleksandrowicz, Courteaux, Aguilar, Rosa) finished 1st (1:34.24). In the 1000 free, Stanislas Raczynski finished 1st (9:28.47) Williamson 2nd (10:21.90). In the 200 free, Alex Sobers finished 1st (1:42.61). In the 100 back, Thiago Rosa finished 1st (50.63). In the 200 fly, Mathieu Danjou finished 1st (1:56.58) Aguilar 2nd (1:57.77). In the 50 free Adrian Aleksandrowicz finished 1st (21.22).

In the 100 free, Alex Sobers finished 1st (47.08). In the 200 back, Thiago Rosa finished 1st (1:57.43) McGhee 2nd (1:59.44). In the 200 breast, Sebastian Riano finished 2nd (2:12.64). In the 500 free, Alex Sobers finished 1st (4:33.25) Raczynski 2nd (4:34.58) Williamson 3rd (5:01.20). In the 100 fly, Santiago Aguilar finished 2nd (52.05). In the 200 free relay (Aleksandrowicz, Sobers, Reichenbach, Rosa) finished 1st (1:24.84).

Next up, the Lions will be hosting a quad meet Friday January 26 at 6:00pm and Saturday January 27 at 11:00am. They will be competing against Brenau University, Point University, and South Georgia State College. GO LIONS!
