DUNKERQUE, France - July 19-23, 2017 - EC swimming Junior, Stanislas Raczynski competed in all 3 distance events at the 2017 French Championship this month.
In the 400 LCM freestyle, 2nd with a personal best time of 4:04.25 for the silver medal
In the 800 LCM freestyle, 1st with a personal best time of 8:22.95 for the gold medal
In the 1500 LCM freestyle, 1st in 16:09.01 for the gold medal
Head Swim Coach, Allen Gilchrest commented; "One of our biggest swimming goals with our internationals is to make sure they are swimming fast when they go back home and compete. Stan is showing that goal is a reality when swimming with Emmanuel. He works hard in the pool throughout the year, is focused on getting faster, and that dedication is paying off! Next up, the Lions Head to the 2017 CSCAA NATIONAL COLLEGIATE OPEN WATER SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS at Lone Star Lake in Lawrence, Kansas, Saturday, September 16, 2017. Raczynski is the defending national champion and record holder in this event.
This year the Lions have entered 5 men and 3 women, with a goal to compete for a national team title as well.
